Maddie Skowronek

Maddie Skowronek is a Bay Area native and Los Angeles–based dancer pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and Communication at the University of California, Los Angeles (expected Dec. 2025).

With over 12 years of training, Maddie has developed a versatile foundation across contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop, West African, house, ballet, tap, heels, acrobatics/stunts, and ballroom. Her diverse training reflects her commitment to honoring both commercial and concert dance practices.

Her professional credits include music videos such as Chet Faker’s Something Like This and Aanuki’s Control Fever, as well as live productions including Karan Aujla’s It Was All a Dream Tour, Phasic Symbiosis at the MASHUP Dance Festival, and original works presented at UCLA and The Odyssey Theatre. She has performed with IAMFORCE Contemporary Dance Company and spent over three years assisting choreographers with Hollywood Vibe Dance Convention. As a performer, Maddie strives to bring her artistry into all settings, blending her love for a wide range of dance styles with respect for the practices that shape them.

In addition to performing, Maddie is a dedicated teacher and mentor with over five years of experience instructing students ages 4–18 in a range of styles. Drawing from her own studio background, she prioritizes creating a supportive learning environment that nurtures both technical growth and personal development.
